She was raised at Cedar Grove Pentecostal Holiness Church. At 13 years old she gave her heart to God. At 19 years old she started attending the Monroe Church of God. It was there that she began working with the children, teaching a Sunday School class. She has always had a Great Love for teaching children about our Heavenly Father.
She began working as a cook in a childcare center. The director told her, after seeing her around the children, that she needed to become a teacher. It was obvious that was where her heart is. She has been teaching now for more than 24 years. She has been doing children ministry for over 35 years. Her heart’s True calling from God our Father is Teaching, Loving, Supporting, and Ministering to His little ones. Quoting Sis. Darline “I Love watching a child’s face when it lights up because they really understand God is Love.”
